Modern problems

 

The environmental awareness is increasing enormously in Europe and elsewhere, which shows in consumption patterns as well as public debate.

City streets are over crowded, and it's getting worse. Hence, there is an obvious trend of vehicles getting smaller, particularly in southern Europe, but also further north.

Transport costs go up with increasing fuel prices. Fuel guzzling vehicles will, inevitably, face tough times, and alternative methods, such as hybrid or electric systems will be rather more expensive for quite some time, especially as it seems that most producers try to build cars that, apart from their new power sources are just as big and heavy as they always were!
